Places I want visit


  • Greece
I want to go to Greece. It is one of the top places that I would like to visit as of right now. I love warm weather and I love the tropics. I love the look of their beaches and just the overall architecture of their buildings. I love food, so I want to know what Greece has to offer in the way of authentic, traditional foods.


  • Paris
I love the Idea of Paris. Of the food, and the culture, and the fashion, as well as all of the sights. From the pictures, it seems like a beautiful place. It will also be nice to know that I didn't take 3 years of french for absolutely nothing.

  • London
Even though London is said to be cold (In comparison to other places), and I don't particularly like the cold, or the rain that is said to frequent this destination, I think that I would be willing to bundle up and strap on my cold weather clothes to take a walk around the beautiful city.

  • Australia
Australia. Stereotyped as the place where people ride kangaroos to work. However, despite all of the stereotypes, I think that it would be a beautiful place to vacation. With all of the beaches and beautiful sights, I think that some time in Australia would be amazing.

  • Scotland
I've heard many things about Scotland and I think that it would be a beautiful place to go. Looking at all of the amazing pictures and architecture online, I think that it would be a great to experience the change in food and culture.

  • India
India is another place that I think would be amazing to go to. I am originally from Africa, so I think that sights would be kind of similar, but I still think that it is really important to experience other cultures.

  • Italy
Italy. Home of the Pasta, and Pizza that we all love so much. Italy is one of those places that I would visit just to try out the food. I think that trying real, authentic food straight from the place is an experience all on its own.

  • The Galapagos Islands
I love tropical places. I love the flora, and the fauna, and all of the beautiful sights and touristy places. I love to see how the people dress, and learn about their history, and how where they live and what their people have gone through impact how the people live.

  • Hawaii
I feel like Hawaii is a common vacation place. People go there all the time to get away from work, school and all the stresses of life, because it is a beautiful place infused with something that people can't help but love. I've never been, but it is a place high on my list of places to go, even if it is just so that I can say that I went.
   

  • Bora Bora
I don't hear many people talk about Bora Bora, but when I do hear people talk about it, all they do is rave. About the people they met, the food they ate, and all of the places they went. I think that Bora Bora would be a good place to go if you were just looking for a place to escape everything.

  • Peru
Machu Picchu is probably my main reason for wanting to go to Peru. However, even though I don't really like forests or anything like that, I would be willing to go hiking in Peru.

  • Spain
Spain is on my list because I once read a book about a girl who really wanted to go to Spain, but never got to go, but near the end of the book, when she finally got the chance to go, the way that it was described sounded absolutely irresistible, and the food that they ate sounded so heavenly that ever since I first read the book about a year and a half ago, it went on my list of places to visit.

Introducing Myself

Hi! My name is Calixta, and this is my blog. I love to read, eat, sleep, listen to music, watch my favorite shows, and hang out with my friends. I am just your average lazy high school student, reading and sleeping when I find the time to. I find that all of the things I listed above are good ways to escape reality.
