Best Superpowers

1. Invisibility

• This one is cool because unless somebody has a camera that picks up thermal signals, you can essentially be anywhere and nobody can see you, which I think could be really cool, especially if what you do for a living has something to do with collecting personal information, then you can literally be the fly on the wall.

2. Reading Minds

• I think that this, like a lot of other superpowers would be a blessing and a curse. If it was like the books, it would take time to control it, so until then, you would be hearing everybody's thoughts. In addition, you could decide to listen to somebody's thoughts and then find out something that you either didn't want to know, or were better off not knowing.

3. Compulsion

• I personally think that this one is pretty cool. It reminds me a lot of Percy Jackson. I think that the ability to get someone to do what you want would be pretty useful, because then if you could compel cashiers to give you things, or get things for free. But you could also use it to get out of trouble, which I think would definitely come in handy.

4. Super speed

• This superpower is pretty generic, and self-explanatory. The only thing about this is that I feel like you would just get tired, because even though you can run really fast, in the end, you're still running, which means that you will still get tired and run out of breath, if not more than you normally would.

5. Teleportation

• This one is pretty cool. Being able to teleport to anywhere just by thinking about the place would be fun, because then you wouldn't have to pay for flights, and if everything that you are touching can teleport with you, then you could bring other people along with you. It would also be useful for getting out of trouble.

6. Immortality

• This one I feel could be a blessing or a curse. Living forever does, in theory, sound like fun. However, you would probably have to move around a lot so that people didn't notice that you weren't aging, and still looked exactly like you did 10 years ago. Also, it would be kind of lonely to see you friends and family die, because unless you could somehow turn people immortal, then that is, inevitably, what would happen.

7. Psychokinesis

• Moving things with your mind. I feel like this is a superpower that we all wanted when we were younger, whether it was to levitate cookies towards us when our parents weren't looking, or just to not have to get up to get the T.V remote.

8. Precognition

• Being able to see the future I think would be a cool superpower, but only if the future was one that could be changed. I think that if the future was set, then it would still be okay to see the future sometimes to be prepared, but other than that, I think it would just be painful to see something bad happen and have no way to change or prevent it.

9. Shapeshifting

• I think that it would be fun to change into anything. However, I wonder if you would be able to change into a person of your own creation, or if it would have to be somebody that you had seen somewhere before? But this would be cool, because you could confuse people and just run circles around them. Also, it would just be fun and weird to experience life in a body that isn't your own.

10. Elemental Control

• Being able to control the elements of air, earth, fire, water, and metal. Although metal isn't something that we associate with being an element, technically, in a lot of different cultures, it is considered an element. This would be a cool superpower because it would just be a fun way to pass the time. At the beach?Attack people with balls of water. Bored, blow stuff into the air and set them on fire! I just think it would be fun.

11. Magic in General

• What people think of when they think of a witch or wizard. Potions, spells, other stuff like that. Essentially the stuff that you would see in Harry Potter or The Mortal Instruments, or other stuff like that. It would be pretty cool just because you wouldn't be limited to a certain power, you would be unpredictable.
